DAW Consulting Firm, LLC recently worked with the State
Wide One Campaign where we wrote the Community Engagement Plan for the Michigan
Democratic Party for the 2018 midterm election.
DAW Consulting Firm, LLC was
contracted to do outreach to the Ecumenical Community and its stakeholders to
galvanize support surrounding the Motown Museum Expansion Initiative. We have engaged over 150 churches across
southeastern Michigan. Our goal for this
project was to raise $1million dollars from within the African American
community.
DAW Consulting Firm, LLC
partnered with UAW/Ford to bring several outreach events to the community
from. Those events are as
follows: Sound Mind, Sound Body
Historical Black College and University Tour – 150 students and 15 HBCU’s,
Saturday in the D – Mumford and Northwestern High School, UAW – Ford Debate in
the D – 4 major universities held a debate at Northwestern High School, and
Construction Trade Resource Fair – Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
DAW Consulting Firm, LLC has
been apart of mentoring programs within the Detroit Public School system,
helping guide students on a successful path during and after their middle to
high school careers. We recently worked with
Randolph Career Technical Center as liaison with community organizations, and
more than 300 Detroit-based churches. Our efforts, over a 90-day period to
promote, encourage, and increase enrollment into the school resulted in an
extensive waiting list for enrollment. Other programs
includes Michigan First Robotics where they offer students an opportunity to
build their own robot, which may then be used in competitions across the
state. We have also assisted schools
locate resources to fund field trips to such places as the state capital where
the children had lunch and a tour of the Michigan Supreme Court. We have also helped in the organization for
career fairs at Spain and Durfee Middle/Elementary Schools.
